Preparation of clay dough :-
The soil is excavated in steps and then laid on levelled ground.
2) Moulding of bricks :-
Bricks are moulded depending on the quality of bricks to be made.
3) Drying of bricks :-
It is done by placing the bricks in sheds with open sides so as to ensure free circulation of air and protection from bad weather and rains.
4) Baking/burning of bricks:-
Bricks may be burnt either in clamps known as clamp burning or in a flame kiln known as kiln burning.
5) Cooling of bricks:-
After the completion of the above four stages, the bricks are left in open to be cooled so that it gains the solid/robust shape.
